36-Year-Old Latvian Motorcyclist Dies in Ayia Napa Accident
Another fatal accident has occurred in Cyprus, resulting in the death of a 36-year-old Latvian citizen in Ayia Napa.
According to the police press service, the accident happened late last night at around 11:00 PM. Roman Cvetkov, 36, was riding a motorcycle on Tevkrou Anthia Street in Ayia Napa. At some point, he lost control, crashing into a tree and then into a house fence.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital. Despite the doctors' best efforts, he passed away around 1:00 AM.
Famagusta police are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.
