Stolen Motorcycle Set on Fire in Village Near Limassol
A motorcycle was set on fire in a village in the Limassol district yesterday evening.
According to police, a fire broke out around 6:00 PM involving a motorcycle parked outside an abandoned house. Firefighters arrived promptly and extinguished the flames, but the vehicle was completely destroyed.
Following an investigation, police and the fire service determined that the fire was set intentionally.
It was also revealed that the motorcycle had been reported stolen on March 22. According to police records, it was taken from the Pissouri area during the night of March 21–22.
The arson and theft case is being investigated by the Episkopi and Pissouri police stations.
