In a traffic accident in Limassol, a 36-year-old biker from Ukraine died
A fatal road accident occurred in Limassol last night. In the accident, 36-year-old Cyprus resident and Ukrainian native Svyatoslav Suprun lost his life.
According to the police press service, the accident happened early in the morning around 03:30. The man was riding his motorcycle on the Limassol bypass road. Before reaching the Polemidia roundabout, he lost control and collided with the safety barrier. Due to the impact, the motorcycle flew onto the roundabout and overturned.
The injured biker was transported by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where the attending doctor pronounced him dead. It is noted that at the time of the accident, the man was wearing a protective helmet.
