Boat completely destroyed by fire in Kofinou
Early Sunday morning, a fire broke out in the village of Kofinou, resulting in the total destruction of a boat.
According to police, at around 03:50, a boat belonging to a 67-year-old man caught fire. It was parked on a trailer in an open field.
Firefighters arrived promptly and extinguished the blaze, but the boat was completely destroyed by the fire.
The area was cordoned off and remains under police guard. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
The investigation is being conducted by the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department in cooperation with the Kofinou police station.
