The municipality of Lakatamia is launching the construction of the large-scale Hadassah Medical Park — a private investment project worth more than 150 million euros.

The multifunctional complex, developed by Osopil Ltd, received approval from the Department of Environment on the condition that specific environmental standards are met. This decision grants the green light for obtaining all necessary permits for design and construction.

The project will be implemented on five plots in the parish of Agia Paraskevi, within the urban zones Ka6 and Eb6. The complex will include medical facilities, a university, a research center, and student housing. Its primary purpose is to provide medical care and related services.

Construction is expected to be completed within two years from the start of work.

Main facilities of the park:

A five-story private clinic with 156 beds, outpatient and surgical departments, diagnostics, oncology, emergency services, and advanced treatment methods including nuclear medicine.

HC Rehabilitation Ltd rehabilitation center for post-operative patients, people with chronic diseases and addictions.

HC Assisted Living Ltd assisted living center — for patients requiring light support and improved quality of life.

A five-story medical university for 900 students with lecture halls, laboratories, and research infrastructure.

A building for biotechnology companies — to advance medical scientific developments.

A six-story dormitory with 232 rooms, a cafeteria, laundry facilities, and shops.

Ground-level parking and energy-efficient solutions, including solar panels on rooftops.

The complex is located within city limits, near the THOI Lakatamia stadium (440 m), the linear park along the Pedieos River (520 m), and Maglis Lake (650 m). Within a one-kilometer radius are residential areas, schools, shops, and other infrastructure.

The project does not affect historical or archaeological sites and is not located in protected natural areas or bird migration routes.
