On February 5, the HERS festival will be held in Larnaca, where women with migration experience will share personal stories of life in Cyprus, and local artists will present an exhibition on migration, identity, and multiculturalism.

HERS is an intimate festival whose goal is to give a voice to women living in Cyprus who have migration experience or connections to multiple cultures.

Participants will share personal stories about self-discovery, belonging, acceptance of differences, and what unites people regardless of their origin.

The festival will also feature a small art exhibition by artists from Larnaca. The works focus on women’s experiences, cultural diversity, and contemporary urban identity. Through visual art, the artists will show how multilayered and diverse Cypriot society is today.

The festival is organized within the Creative Europe program and with the support of the Larnaca 2030 initiative, aimed at developing Larnaca as a cultural and creative center.

The project fits into the city’s broader cultural context — from international art events such as Biennale 2025 to local programs that promote intercultural dialogue and youth engagement.
