Another Attack on a Delivery Driver in Larnaca
A food delivery driver in Larnaca was recently robbed in yet another attack. The young man was threatened with both a knife and a gun during the ordeal.
According to the police press office, the attack took place on the previous evening, around 9:20 PM, in a district of the Larnaca region. The victim, a 22-year-old delivery driver, was assaulted by three unidentified individuals traveling in a car.
The assailants managed to steal a significant sum of money, the keys to the driver’s motorcycle, and his mobile phone.
The Kiti police station is handling the investigation into the incident.
It is important to note that the number of crimes targeting delivery drivers has been on the rise in Cyprus in recent months. Several victims have been beaten during similar attacks. Authorities suspect that many of these incidents may have a racial motive.
