21-year-old arrested in Larnaca in connection with home burglary and theft of weapons
A 21-year-old man was arrested at the request of the police in connection with an investigation into an alleged burglary of a residence and theft of weapons that took place in early August in the Larnaca district.
According to a statement by the Police Press Office, the arrest was carried out under a court warrant, and the suspect was placed in custody.
As a result of coordinated investigative actions, two weapons — a hunting rifle and an air pistol — were found hidden in an abandoned vehicle and seized as evidence.
Today, the suspect is expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court for a ruling on remand measures.
The case is being investigated by the Aradippou Police Station.
