81-Year-Old Man Arrested in Larnaca in Cannabis Case
During a house search in Larnaca, Cyprus, police arrested an 81-year-old man, reports the newspaper Phileleftheros. The search took place yesterday morning.
During the search, three cannabis plants of various sizes and 118 grams of cannabis were discovered. A plant processing and drying system was also found on site.
The newspaper additionally notes that on Saturday in Cyprus, 102 kilograms of drugs were seized; in connection with this case, three men aged 61, 47, and 30 were arrested.
The court in Limassol, Cyprus, decided to remand the detainees in custody for eight days. Police investigations into both incidents continue.
