In Limassol, 49-Year-Old Businessman Arrested in Luxury Car Arson Case

The Limassol District Court ordered the detention for five days of a 49-year-old entrepreneur, who was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of involvement in the arson of luxury cars. The incident occurred on January 25 at a car dealership.
The man was arrested based on testimony and a court order. During a search of his home and car, police found approximately €18,000 in cash, two pistol replicas, and five mobile phones. All items were seized as evidence.
According to the investigation, the suspect denies involvement in the crime. Earlier in connection with the same case, a 28-year-old man was arrested and placed in custody for six days.
The investigation is ongoing.
