Car crashes into betting shop in Limassol — one person injured
A serious road traffic accident occurred on Tuesday morning (March 3) in Limassol: an elderly driver drove his car into a betting shop.
According to preliminary information, the man was leaving a shop parking lot located to the east of the road. Under circumstances currently being investigated by the police, the car crossed the roadway and crashed into the building on the opposite side, ending up inside the premises.
As a result of the accident, one customer of the betting shop was injured. He was taken to the hospital. Information regarding the victim's condition is being clarified.
Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
