Marathon with Thousands of Runners Held in Limassol
The XM Limassol Marathon took place in Limassol, gathering thousands of participants despite the rainy weather.
The races started from the Molos promenade and included six distances for participants of different ages and fitness levels.
The 5km corporate race was particularly popular, with over 10,000 people from 260 teams participating. Additionally, about 1,500 children ran the 1km kids' distance.
The event was attended by government representatives, as well as teams supporting social initiatives.
The marathon once again became one of the largest sporting events on the island.
