Drunk Driver Rams Multiple Cars in Limassol

A 56-year-old man has been detained in Limassol, suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a series of collisions.

The incident occurred around 22:00. According to police, the driver first hit a parked car, then continued driving and collided with three more vehicles, causing significant property damage.

As a result of the final impact, one of the cars was pushed into another parked vehicle. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Traffic police officers found the man in his car at the scene. A breathalyzer test showed 112 μg of alcohol, well above the legal limit of 22 μg. The driver later refused to provide a proper sample for a retest and was arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.
