Two arrested in Limassol over embezzlement cases
Limassol police have detained two suspects in two separate cases of theft and misappropriation of funds involving a 61-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man.
In the first case, a 61-year-old woman, who worked as an accountant for a company in Limassol, is suspected of embezzling €303,560 between 2023 and 2025. The complaint was filed by the company management. The suspect has been detained and will be brought before the Limassol District Court for a remand hearing.
In the second case, a 26-year-old man, an employee of a betting agency, is suspected of stealing €34,645. He will also appear in court for a remand hearing.
