In Limassol, two brothers have been arrested with explosives and marijuana
The Limassol police have detained two brothers who were found in possession of explosive devices and marijuana.
According to the police press service, based on a court order, a search was conducted on Monday evening in the presence of the residents in the apartment of two young men aged 24 and 29.
During the search, the police found a shoulder bag containing four factory-made firecrackers, three homemade explosive devices, and a plastic bottle with a flammable substance. In the waste basket, a transparent nylon bag with a small amount of cannabis was also discovered.
Both men have been arrested for the committed offenses and placed in custody.
The investigation is ongoing, led by the Limassol Anti-Narcotics Unit (Ykan) and the Polymedia Police Station.
