Arsenal of Molotov Cocktails and Golf Clubs Found in Limassol
A significant stash of dangerous items, including Molotov cocktails, fireworks, golf clubs, and baseball bats, was discovered during a search in Limassol. Authorities also found containers filled with flammable liquids at the scene.
According to the police, the operation to locate and seize these items took place the day before. Around 4:30 PM, officers conducted a search in a Limassol district and found 22 golf clubs, two wooden baseball bats, and two sports bags inside a tactical vehicle. In an open metal box, they also discovered 22 plastic bottles containing an unknown liquid.
Further investigation revealed six additional plastic bottles with liquid, four handheld flares, two parachute rockets, and five firecrackers. The items emitted a strong, distinct smell of flammable material, and the bottles were wrapped with tape, with a factory-made firecracker attached to the exterior. All items have been handed over to the authorities for further analysis.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Limassol Police Department is handling the case.
