In Limassol, the first professional skate park in Cyprus has opened
The opening of the urban skate park took place in the Germasoyia area in Limassol. The park, covering an area of 5,000 square meters, began operating on December 23.
This is the first professional-level skate park in Cyprus designed for training and hosting large-scale competitions.
The new public space is equipped with everything necessary for active skateboarding and skateboarder training. In total, 36 elements, such as ramps, bowls, and pump tracks, have been built here.
Considering the inclusion of skateboarding in the program of the 2020 Olympic Games, the project meets all Olympic standards.
Limassol's urban skate park ranks among the top ten similar projects in Europe. The total investment in the project amounted to 1.3 million euros.
