Explosion Reported Near Warehouse in Livadia
A small explosive device was detonated over the weekend in the Livadia area. The bomb had been planted near a warehouse on the outskirts of the district.
According to the police press office, the explosion occurred early Sunday morning at around 3:20 a.m. The blast shattered the glass entrance door of the warehouse. Officers from the Larnaca Police Department responded promptly to the scene.
“The explosion broke the glass at the main entrance,” said Larnaca Police spokesperson Spiros Chrysostomou.
Authorities have not yet identified the person responsible for planting the device. The investigation is ongoing.
