An icon of Saint Charalambos was stolen from the monastic courtyard of Saint Barbara near Stavrovouni.

According to a publication on social media, the theft occurred the day before. An unknown individual stole the icon of Saint Charalambos from the metochion of Saint Barbara, located in the Stavrovouni area.
A police report has already been filed regarding the incident. The authors of the publication suggest that the perpetrator may have stolen the icon with the intention of selling it.
In connection with the incident, an appeal was made to the public: anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the icon or the circumstances of the theft is asked to inform the police.
The investigation is ongoing.
