Two Teenagers Arrested for Vandalism at Nicosia School
Nicosia police are investigating a vandalism incident at a local school. Two young men, wearing hoodies, broke into the school last night and defaced the walls with various slogans.
According to the police press office, the incident occurred around 2:45 AM. Authorities were alerted that two individuals in hoodies were inside one of the school buildings in Nicosia.
When police arrived, they found the two suspects exiting the fenced-off area of the school. The teens, aged 17 and 18, were stopped for a document check. They were found to be carrying three cans of paint, paint rollers, and about thirty eggs.
An investigation inside the school revealed that the walls had been covered with various slogans.
The two teenagers were taken to the police station for questioning and have been released pending a court appearance.
The case is being handled by the Agios Dometios Police Station.
