Powerful Explosion Reported in Paphos District Overnight
A powerful explosion was reported overnight in one of the districts of Paphos. The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
According to local media reports, the explosion occurred around ten minutes before one o'clock in the morning. It has been determined that a water heater on the roof of a house exploded for reasons yet unknown.
The explosion was so intense that its sound could be heard several kilometers away, and fragments of the boiler were found 500 meters from the scene.
There is no information yet about any injuries resulting from the incident. Law enforcement authorities will conduct investigations today to determine the cause of the water heater explosion.
