Three Kilograms of Drugs Seized in Paphos
The YCAN anti-narcotics unit discovered three kilograms of drugs in a residential house in Paphos, resulting in the arrest of two suspects.
Police searched the apartment with a court warrant. During the search, drugs and other evidence were found. According to the department, the seized drugs included two kilograms of marijuana and one kilogram of cannabis resin.
Two young Greek Cypriots were arrested and are being held in custody in connection with this case. They are expected to appear in Paphos court today for detention orders. The investigation is ongoing.
On the same evening in Paphos, two individuals were arrested for possession of a small quantity of drugs during a traffic stop.
Both were taken to the police station and released pending trial.
