In Paphos, a car struck a woman with limited mobility. The driver fled the scene but was later apprehended based on a court order.
According to police reports, the accident occurred on Monday evening around 19:15 on Agoras Street. The 28-year-old woman was attempting to cross the road with the assistance of another person when she was hit by a car driven by a 68-year-old man.
The injured woman was transported to Paphos Hospital by ambulance. Doctors diagnosed her with a leg fracture. Treatment for the victim is ongoing. The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
