An electric bus caught fire in Paphos at the Tombs of the Kings parking lot
Early on the morning of November 6, around 01:08, an electric bus caught fire at the parking lot near the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos, Cyprus. Two fire trucks from the Paphos Fire Station arrived on the scene; the fire was contained at 01:08.
According to eyewitnesses and video footage, the fire started in the motor compartment of the electric bus. The motor compartment suffered significant damage from the fire and high temperature.
The Electromechanical Service was called to the scene; preliminary assessment suggests that the fire may have been caused by an electrical malfunction. No other casualties or damaged objects are mentioned in the report.
