Explosion Near Residential Building in Strovolos, Nicosia
An explosion occurred last night in Nicosia, near a residential building in the Strovolos area.
According to the police, emergency services received information about the explosion at around 3:30 AM. Law enforcement authorities promptly arrived at the scene. Upon inspection, it was found that the explosive device had been placed in front of the garage door of the residential building.
The incident resulted in damage to the garage doors and two cars parked inside.
The police have launched an investigation to identify the person who planted the explosive device and to determine their motives.
