Two Goats Rescued from a Cave Near Nicosia
Over the weekend, a successful rescue operation was carried out near Nicosia to free two goats trapped in a cave in the rural area of the Limnia community. According to Fire Department spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the incident occurred on Sunday, April 27, when emergency services received a report about two missing domestic goats.
It was later discovered that the animals had wandered into a cave and couldn't find their way out. A rescue team, along with a fire truck from Nicosia, quickly responded to the scene and managed to carry out a successful operation.
