A fire occurred at a high school in Nicosia
Firefighting services in Nicosia were called into action last night due to a fire at a high school in Strovolos.
According to the fire department spokesperson, a report was received shortly before 11:00 PM about a burning dumpster adjacent to the gym in Strovolos. The fire quickly spread to a classroom on the ground floor, causing significant damage to school property.
Two fire trucks arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire using hydrants.
An investigation into the cause of the fire began this morning.
