38-year-old woman found dead in central Limassol
On Monday afternoon, the body of a woman was discovered in an abandoned building in the center of Limassol.
According to preliminary information, the deceased was a 38-year-old Greek Cypriot woman. Police officers arrived at the scene in the Ayia Triada area around 1:00 PM, cordoned off the territory, and began an investigation.
Investigators are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to reconstruct the woman's final movements. Initial reports indicate the woman was unemployed and experiencing homelessness.
At first glance, no external injuries were found, and while health issues have not been ruled out, the exact cause of death will be determined following a forensic autopsy.
