During a fight at a capital city restaurant, a foreigner was seriously injured
A brawl occurred in one of the restaurants in the center of Nicosia. Arriving police discovered an injured foreigner and a weapon.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred on Monday early in the morning. Eyewitnesses reported the scuffle at the dining establishment to the police.
Police officers arrived at the scene around 4 o'clock in the morning. Near the restaurant, they found an injured person, who turned out to be a foreigner. He was taken to a hospital in Nicosia for treatment, and no further details about the injured man's identity were provided.
At the scene of the incident, the police discovered a weapon, which was sent for examination.
At the moment, the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet.
