Driver Under the Influence of Drugs Hits Four Boys in Geroskipou
Five individuals were injured as a result of a traffic accident in Cyprus. The driver lost control and collided with four young men.
According to the Paphos police press service, the accident occurred on Thursday evening on the coastal road in Geroskipou. The 24-year-old driver lost control and crashed into a parked car, striking four 19-year-old men who were standing on the road.
The driver and the injured were taken to Paphos General Hospital. Fortunately, they all suffered minor injuries. However, doctors detained them at the medical facility for some time for preventive purposes.
Later, the driver underwent a drug test, which turned out to be positive. Alcohol was also found in his blood, but it was below the legal limit.
The Paphos police are investigating the accident.
