Drivers Alerted to Roadworks in Larnaca: Updated Road Closure Schedule
Early November will see cable installation work in CYTA utility manholes across parts of Larnaca, causing temporary road restrictions from November 4 to November 9.
"From Monday, November 4, to Saturday, November 9, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., cable installation work will be conducted in CYTA utility manholes along the Larnaca - Ayia Napa highway and on the Kalo Chorio - Mosfiloti road," stated the Larnaca District Engineer’s Office of the Public Works Department under the Ministry of Transport.
During this period, a 20-meter section of the exit lane on the Larnaca Airport - Ayia Napa highway will be closed. However, traffic flow on the highway will remain uninterrupted.
On the Kalo Chorio - Mosfiloti road, a 3-kilometer stretch of the left lane will be temporarily closed. Traffic will be redirected to the adjacent lane using a STOP & GO system.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for any unavoidable inconvenience and encourages the public to remain patient, adhere to temporary road markings, and follow police instructions.
