Eight U.S. Fighter Jets Caused Panic in Paphos
American fighter jets were spotted flying over Paphos, sparking panic among local residents. However, authorities have reassured the public that there is no reason for concern.
According to local media, all eight jets belong to the U.S. Armed Forces, which are currently stationed at the "Andreas Papandreou" airbase.
Their presence in Cyprus is part of a broader U.S. strategy in the Middle East. Reports indicate that over the next two weeks, the aircraft will carry out several flights over the city.
Authorities have emphasized that the flights will be conducted based on operational readiness, and there is no need for alarm.
