Explosion at a company office in Limassol: an improvised device detonated
An explosion occurred at a company office in Limassol. According to preliminary information, an improvised explosive device was used — a firecracker enhanced with gasoline. As a result of the incident, property was damaged; fortunately, there were no injuries.
Police and bomb disposal specialists promptly arrived at the scene. The area was cordoned off, inspections were carried out and evidence was collected. Investigators are considering various versions of what happened, including deliberate actions. The investigation is ongoing.
