Heat Recedes: Dusty and Cloudy Weather Expected in Cyprus on March 18
According to the Cyprus Department of Meteorology, a warm air mass will dominate the region on Tuesday, March 18, before gradually being replaced by a colder system starting tomorrow.
The morning will be mostly clear, though periods of increased cloud cover are expected. Dust will linger in the atmosphere but should begin to clear by midday.
Tuesday’s Weather Forecast:
- Daytime:
- Temperatures will reach around 26°C inland, 21–24°C along the coasts, and 16°C in the mountains.
- Evening & Night:
- The weather will remain mostly clear, though some cloud cover is expected, especially in the western part of the island.
- Nighttime temperatures will drop to 5°C in the mountains, 9°C inland, and 12°C along the coasts.
On Wednesday, conditions will turn mostly cloudy, with a chance of rain or even thunderstorms in some areas.
Temperatures will drop significantly on Wednesday and Thursday, falling below the seasonal average. Over the next three days, wet snow is possible on the highest peaks of the Troodos Mountains.
