Winter swimmers in Larnaca welcomed the last Saturday of the year with a swim and New Year wishes

On Saturday morning at a beach in Larnaca, members of the “winter swimmers” club traditionally went into the water — it was their final meeting of the outgoing year. The group has been gathering in the same place for several years and swims every Saturday all year round — in winter and in summer.
This time, the swim was complemented by a small “celebration on the shore”: after the sea, participants exchanged congratulations, treated each other to refreshments, and wished all households health and happiness in the new year. Friends and acquaintances also joined the gathering, having been invited to support the atmosphere.
