What documents do I need to get married in Cyprus?

Getting married in Cyprus is very simple, no matter whether you are marrying a citizen of the island or a citizen of other countries, both European and third countries.

The main thing is to submit the necessary package of documents:

• original passports of the bride and groom (internal and foreign);
• certificate that you are not married (certified translation with apostille);
• birth certificates (notarised translation into English or Greek);
• if one of the persons wishing to marry is divorced - a divorce certificate.

To get married in Cyprus, it is enough to come here on a tourist visa and submit the documents to any municipality - you will be signed.
