Part of Güzelyurt–Lefke road to be closed for motorcycle races
Police have announced the temporary closure of a section of the Güzelyurt–Lefke road due to motorcycle races.
Restrictions will be in effect on Sunday, April 19, from 09:00 to 19:00. During this time, a motorcycle drag racing competition organized by the Cyprus Turkish Motorcycle Association will take place on the highway.
Traffic will be completely closed in both directions on a section approximately 4.5 km long — between the Doğancı and Cengizköy roundabouts.
A detour is provided for drivers: traffic will be routed via the old Güzelyurt–Lefke road.
Police urge motorists to exercise caution, reduce speed, and follow the directions of traffic services.
