Weather Forecast for May 27th in TRNC: Showers and Thunderstorms Expected

The TRNC Meteorology Department forecasts showers and thunderstorms until noon on May 27th across the region. This weather pattern is attributed to low pressure and cool, humid air prevailing in the upper atmosphere. Meteorologists anticipate variable cloudiness and scattered showers in certain areas.

Temperatures are expected to remain within seasonal norms, ranging from 27 to 31°C across most regions. The heaviest precipitation is forecasted around Kyrenia and Famagusta, with the possibility of rain in central areas and on the Karpas Peninsula.

Winds are expected to be northeastward, moderate in strength, with occasional strong gusts. No storms are forecasted for today. However, two meteorological warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus due to the persisting high risk of wildfires and moderate levels of ultraviolet radiation.

It's advisable to limit sun exposure to 20 minutes, especially between 11:00 and 16:00, and take necessary precautions.
