Famagusta: 23-year-old man arrested for attempted covert filming in a women’s restroom
In Famagusta, police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempting to secretly record video in the women’s restroom of one of the establishments.
The incident occurred on January 1. According to police, an unknown individual unlawfully entered the premises and attempted to film using a mobile phone through a ventilation window of the women’s restroom.
Following a complaint, law enforcement conducted an investigation during which the suspect was identified. The man was arrested and taken to the police for further questioning.
The investigation is ongoing.
