In Kyrenia, a bus hit a pedestrian: the man is in intensive care
A serious road traffic accident involving a pedestrian occurred on Mete Adanır Street in Kyrenia.
According to police, at around 06:30 in the morning, a 39-year-old bus driver, while driving along the street, negligently struck a 42-year-old man who was crossing the road on foot.
The victim sustained severe injuries and was taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia, where, after receiving first aid, he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
As part of the investigation, the bus driver has been detained. The circumstances of the accident are being clarified.
