Gemikonağı: drunk driver hit a motorcyclist and attempted to flee
In Gemikonağı, on Ecevit Avenue, a passenger car crashed into a motorcycle and left the scene of the accident. The victim was a 24-year-old motorcyclist who was taken to Cengiz Topel Hospital, where he remains under medical supervision.
According to the police, the suspected driver was later located and detained. A breathalyzer test showed 176 mg of alcohol. The investigation is ongoing.
