The Municipality of Nicosia starts development works in Ortaköy
The Turkish Municipality of Nicosia has announced the start of infrastructure development works in Ortaköy. On February 24th and 25th, traffic on Mehmet Akif Street will be organized into one lane.
According to the municipality's statement, as a result of the renovation, one of the country's main roads - Mehmet Akif Street - will be completely revamped.
The works will take place on Saturday, February 24th, and Sunday, February 25th, starting from the Kumşal apartment building.
During the works in this area, sidewalks will be renovated, the storm drainage line will be reinforced, an observation terrace will be built, streetlights will be upgraded, and new urban furniture will be added.
Drivers using this route are asked to pay attention to road signs and markings during the works.
