For the First Time, TRNC Discussed on Azerbaijani State Television
Güven Arıklı, president of the Turkish Union Solidarity Association, appeared live on Azerbaijani state television, AZ TV, where he made significant statements regarding the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Arıklı emphasized that "the Turkic world must stand united and in solidarity," and called for an end to the "isolation policy" imposed on the TRNC.
Noting the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey, he pointed out that high-level visits scheduled for April 2024 will further deepen this friendship.
In the same program, Cavanşir Feyziev, the head of the Azerbaijan-Cyprus Interparliamentary Friendship Group, remarked that "Central Asian countries must support the TRNC," and criticized the EU for its unjust treatment of Turkish Cypriots, which creates double standards on the island.
