A storm warning has been issued in Northern Cyprus
The Cyprus Meteorological Service warns of a storm on land and at sea until 5:00 AM on Saturday.
Winds from the north and west are expected to strengthen — gusts may reach 62–74 km/h.
At sea, the wind will increase to force 8, and conditions will be stormy. Residents and sailors are advised to exercise caution and, if possible, avoid traveling and going out to sea during this period.
