New fees for firearm licenses have been established in Northern Cyprus
The Council of Ministers of the TRNC has amended the Regulation on the Determination of Licenses and Fees for Firearms. The amendment has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the amendments that have come into effect, a license for mass possession of firearms or a pistol with special permission costs 3,510 Turkish lira, a firearms license will cost 1,315 Turkish lira, and a registration certificate will be 895 Turkish lira. In case of destruction or loss of the registration certificate, a fee of 175 Turkish lira will be required.
