Innovation competition for IT students to be held in Northern Cyprus
On Friday, the European University of Lefke will host the project competition "New Ideas of Young Minds (GBYF Cyprus)," aimed at supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among young people. The event is organized by the Information Technologies and Communications Authority in collaboration with the Turkey Informatics Association.
The competition will begin with welcoming speeches at 10:00 and will bring together students from ten universities in Northern Cyprus. The focus is on projects and graduation theses in the field of information technology and engineering, which will be evaluated by an expert jury.
The main goal of the initiative is to develop innovative thinking in students, stimulate the creation of new technological solutions, and strengthen ties between universities and industry. Participants will have the opportunity to present their developments to business representatives, investors, and other stakeholders.
The organizers emphasize that such events contribute not only to identifying talented young specialists but also to forming an ecosystem of cooperation between education and the market. The best projects will be awarded prizes, and their authors will receive additional opportunities for further development.
