In Northern Cyprus, a driver was fined for transporting people in the trunk
The police in Northern Cyprus fined a reckless driver for transporting people in a dangerous manner. Two passengers were riding directly in the trunk of the car.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred last weekend on the main road from Lefke to Güzelyurt. The dangerous journey of two people in the car's trunk was captured on a mobile phone camera.
It was determined that the car was rented. The police considered the phone recording as evidence of the offense and identified the driver of the vehicle based on it.
Based on the recording, a protocol was drawn up, and a criminal case was initiated against the person behind the wheel of the rented car.
