In Northern Cyprus, 12 people were caught without residence permits in one day
Raids continue in Northern Cyprus to identify individuals residing in the country without residency permits. In just one day, the police arrested another 12 people living in the TRNC without legal status.
According to the police press service, as a result of checks conducted by the police on Sunday, March 10, throughout the country, a total of 12 people were arrested who were residing in the country without residency permits and had no legal status. They have all been arrested, and criminal cases have been initiated against them.
No further details about the detainees, including their nationality, are disclosed by the police. The police investigation is ongoing.
