New Electricity Tariffs in Northern Cyprus Take Effect Today
As of April 1, electricity prices in Northern Cyprus have increased by 11.66% under the new tariffs introduced by Kıb-Tek.
According to the updated pricing table, residential electricity rates are now:
- 0–250 kWh – 4.8044 TL per kWh
- 251–500 kWh – 9.9115 TL per kWh
- 501–750 kWh – 10.6573 TL per kWh
- 751–1000 kWh – 11.5519 TL per kWh
- Over 1000 kWh – 13.8069 TL per kWh
This marks the first electricity price hike in six months, with the last increase implemented on October 1, 2024.
