A tender has been announced for the construction of the largest solar power station in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
SAN-HO Northern Energy, established in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Northern Cyprus and the Cyprus Hoteliers Association, has opened the tender for the construction of the largest solar energy system (SES) in the TRNC.
The deadline for the tender for the system, which will have a capacity of 25 MWac (alternating current) and 50 MWdc (direct current), is January 31.
According to a written statement made by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, the tender will be conducted through an open competition procedure (closed envelope) and will be open not only to domestic but also to foreign individuals and legal entities representing international commercial firms.
The tender, to be evaluated by the SAN-HO tender committee, is titled "Integrated Energy Storage Block Projects of Solar Power Plants (SPP) and High Voltage Substation Transmission Lines."
Documents can be submitted until January 15, 2024, and the deadline for submitting applications is set for January 31, 2024.
